Sometimes you want to invite more website users to use your chatbot. In such circumstances, we would recommend that you turn on the spontaneous chat greeting feature to help your customers take note of the chatbot.
1. How to turn on “Spontaneous Greeting” for your Chatbot
- To turn on “Spontaneous greeting” for your chatbot, simply head over to the “Edit Chatbot” page and enable the checkmark for “Spontaneously greet users”
- You can also edit the greeting message so that it will contain the message that you would like for it to show up. You can see the chat bubble at the bottom right of the screen below.
- The greeting will pop-up whenever your users enter your webpage. It will also close for the rest of the browsing session once your customers click on the ‘x’ button
