To create a Bot, click on the “create a bot” button on the top right.
Within the create bot window, a user will see the following fields:
- Name of Chatbot – Users can name their chatbot as they appear to the customer
- Greeting Message – refers to the default greeting message users will see when their chatbot loads up in their webpage.
- Link to the knowledge base – Provide a link to your website here.
- Entire website crawling - You can select the “entire website” dropdown to allow Wonderchat to store and access your whole website.
- Subdirectory crawling - If you want to only store a subdirectory of your website, you can give a link such as “https://example.com/blog” and the tool will only crawl links with /blog/ at the back.
- Single page crawling - If you want the chatbot to only crawl one page of your website, you can edit the dropdown to select “Single page”
- Upload a PDF - You can upload a PDF as a data source alternatively.
- After uploading the PDF you can also add sitelinks afterwards
- Role of Chatbot – Users can toggle between the role a chatbot would assume for their site.
- Copywriter - A chatbot set to the role of a copywriter will behave like a marketing copywriting assistant.
- Salesperson - A chatbot set to the role of a copywriter will behave like a sales person and try to sell your website to your website visitors.
- Customer Support agent - A chatbot set to the role of a customer support agent will behave like a customer support staff and try to help your website visitor troubleshoot their issues.
- Researcher - A chatbot set to the role of a researcher would be able to act like a researcher and make references to information outside of the webpages stored within their knowledge base.
- General - A chatbot set to the role of a general chatbot would be able to answer any questions limited to the scope of your knowledge base.
- Chat response length – Toggle the length of a Chatbot’s response
- Concise: Chatbot will give a shorter, more succinct manner
- Normal: Chatbot will give medium length responses
- Detailed: Chatbot will reply in a verbose manner and sound extra descriptive
- Language - You can toggle the language dropdown in the edit chatbot page to set a default language for your chatbot. This allows your chatbot to answer all questions in the default language.
- Ignore URLs when indexing - You can ignore an entire website or a subpage of your website. To ignore
- Chatbot and brand color theme - You can pick the color theme of your chatbot by clicking on the color for “Bot color theme”. Key in the HTML code to select the color of our choice to customize your chatbot.
- Contact Button link – Provide a link where your customers can visit if they want to contact live support.
- Chat Widget spontatenous greeting - You can activate the spontaneous greeting pop-up bubble by checking the ‘spontaneously greet users’ button.
- Choose between GPT 3.5 Turbo, GPT 3.5 16K, GPT4 Turbo, and GPT4 - You can decide to either use GPT3.5 Turbo or GPT4 to power your chatbot
- Collect user name and emails - You can enable your chatbot to collect a user’s name and email and contact details by checking the “collect user emails and names” checkbox.
Once you click on ‘create’, your bot will load-up. The “creating bot”sign will show and a user can see their bot loading up.
